Administered by Business Victoria and serving the Capital Regional District, WorkSource Wage Subsidy Program is an employment program assisting EI Eligible Clients in the pursuit of appropriate, sustained employment by enriching employability skills and facilitating opportunities that are mutually beneficial to both Employers and Job Seekers.

Our team of professionals work closely with regional Employment Assistance Service Providers (EAS Agencies), Specialized Agencies and the Ministry of Social Development (MHSD) - Employment and Labour Market Services Division (ELMS) to help develop employment opportunities for qualified individuals; while providing on-going support and assistance to both Employer and Employee for the duration of the wage subsidy in order to maximize the success of the placement.

Each year the WorkSource Program provides approximately 500 unemployed individuals the opportunity to learn new skills on the job, increasing their prospects for long term employment. Over 70% of employees participating in the program go on to sustain long term employment.
